Description
As the name implies, Fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the coconut oil from which almost all the long chain triglycerides are removed, thus leaving mainly the medium-chain triglycerides and making it an absolutely saturated oil. This saturation gives it a very, very long shelf life and greatly increased stability.
Fractionated Coconut carrier oil has no scent and remains a liquid at any temperature. Fractionated Coconut Oil will produce a barrier on the skin, but unlike virgin coconut oil will not clog pores (non-comedogenic). It is thinner than most carrier oils. Its unique properties make this not only a great carrier oil for our line of essential oils but is a great base when making home-made products.
