Rebecca Brooks, MPH, RD, LD, CSR, CLT is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutritionist licensed in the state of Florida, as well as a Certified LEAP Therapist. She received her Bachelors in Nutrition/Dietetics at the University of Georgia and completed her Masters of Public Health with the University of South Florida. Rebecca has been providing nutritional counseling and clinical nutrition therapy for 12 years. Rebecca is also a certified specialist in the area of Renal Nutrition. She currently serves on the Florida ESRD Network 7 Medical Review Board and has been a speaker for the Network’s Annual Conference. She is also a member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Florida Dietetic Association, and the Renal Practice Group.
Rebecca’s passion for nutrition led her to her current training with the Integrative of Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA), which is a partner of the world-renowned Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). The IFNA training is based on a medical nutrition model that combines the very best of modern science, clinical wisdom, and integrative therapies. IFNA training includes skill-building in: nutrition-focused physical assessment, therapeutic elimination diets, conventional and functional labs & diagnostics, art and science of dietary supplements, and mind-body modalities.
